In industrial automation, a device called an HMI operator panel enables operators to communicate with and manage machines or procedures. A display screen, a touch interface or keypad, and occasionally actual buttons or switches make up the panel in most cases. It is designed to give operators a user-friendly interface so they can view real-time data, monitor the status of their machines, and make any necessary adjustments. The PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) or another industrial control system may be connected to the HMI operator panel, enabling the operator to alter the machine's functioning in real-time.
